Chandrayan 3 is recovery mission for chandrayan 2, which failed it's attempt of soft landing on moon surface. Chandrayan-3 launch has been long waited by all Indian. 

The time has come now. Chandrayan 3 is going to launch by LVM3 from the launch station of ISRO - Satish Dhavan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota. The launch date of Chandrayan 3 is 14 July, 2023. Launch time of Chandrayan 3 is 14.35 hours IST on July 14th.

Purpose of Chandrayan 3

Chandrayan 3 is comprising of a lander and a rover configuration. The lander is supposed to do soft landing on moon surface. Whereas rover will be set in the lunar orbit.

Chandrayan 3 has propulsion module, that will study the spectral and polari metric measurements of Earth from the lunar orbit.

Budget of Chandrayan 3

ISRO is well known for it's cost effective space programs. Chandrayan 3 budget is said to be of ₹ 615 crore .  This is almost similar to the budget of a recently released movie called Adipurush. It's budget was over ₹ 600 crore and still it did not hit the benchmark for Indians. But ISRO scientists are made of strong will power and excellent inteligence, hence the ₹ 615 crore budget will be all worth it.
