In this also there are two types of counselling, one is All India counselling and another is state-wise counselling. This is because all colleges and institutions have seat quota reserved for its state students. In all government medical colleges, state quota is 85% whereas, All India quota is 15%. This means that for example if a college has 100 MBBS seats, 85 seats are reserved for students of that state and the remaining 15 seats can be allotted to any other candidate.
MCC conducts counselling for particular seats and colleges based on NEET scores. The colleges for which MCC holds counselling are as follows:
For the information of state quota counselling, you need to check respective website of state committee for Medical counselling. The process for which will be almost similar to that of MCC.
Seat matrix
The seat matrix of colleges pan India is an important aspetc. Because the number of seats available in medical colleges will decide how many chances are there to secure a seat in that college. MCC is yet to declare the seat matrix, but it can be expected from last year’s seat matrix. The expected seat matrix is tabulated below.
Apart from this 52,720 seats for AYUSH are open for application. For government B.Sc. Nursing, 487 seats will be open for NEET UG counselling.
