We all know that mobile phone has become an indispensable part of our life in today’s world. We open our eyes to the phone and our eyes shut to the phone at night. Mobile phone having quite many good aspects, are still depicted as a curse in students life. But the more it is denied to students, the more they want. In today’s blog we will see how can we change this mentality for mobile phone and make it in such way that it is more useful.
Mobile phone is a part of our life. It has become like one of the basic necessities. You can’t see any person on the street without a mobile phone. Because nowadays everything has become digital. From buying groceries to finding friends, everything is just a phone away. Despite having these many good aspects, why do mobile phone is portrayed as bad?
The reason being for the same is ‘unconscious use’ of phone. We scroll through Instagram and Facebook mindlessly, do online shopping without any need, talk to strangers just to pass time. All these things do nothing else than wasting time. Time is very precious in students life, especially if you are preparing for any competitive exams like NEET, JEE etc.
Wasting time impacts a lot on your studies. We all carry same amount of time in a day that is 24 hours. A person who is very focus would not waste any time on their phone. The amount of time you spend mindlessly on your phone is the time your goal gets delayed. Your phone is tool of inspiration: we all known that iPhone have beautiful setting to change lock screen picture as well as home screen picture. You generally put your own picture or a picture of nature but take my advice this time. You can put a picture that is inspirational to the point of view of your study. For example if you are preparing for NEET and your goal is to become a doctor from AIIMS, you can put a picture of lab coat with logo of AIIMS is your lock screen wallpaper. Or you can write that targeted score you want to achieve as your home screen wallpaper. What does will do is, every time you take your phone in hand rather than getting distracted you will be inspired to work hard for your goal. Almost all NEET and JEE toppers as well as toppers of other competitive exams follow this strategy. Other than your study this trick will also help you to get inspired in future life also.
Music to enhance focus: Music is said to be a great therapy to come down are brain. Music helps to focus better. This is not just a common observation but many studies have also agreed to this. We are not advising you to use your phone to listen to Bollywood music. Yes you can obviously listen to it but not while studying. Here we are talking about a different frequency of music which is called as white noise. This type of music has such frequency that it helps with concentration. Many students use this white noise during study and they find it very helpful in learning. You can also try to play this type of music on your phone while studying. If you don’t find it helpful you can also listen to it before beginning of your study time. This will come your mind and relax you from within.
